SCOOPS

The annual SCOOPS meeting will be held on Friday, March 27th from 12:00 - 2:00pm. If you have any questions about this years meeting, contact Todd Corlett at corlett@philau.edu

Purpose
• Establish communication between student chapters, regional industrial
design professionals and the National IDSA office.
• Provide detailed information about student chapter operation and benefits
of IDSA affiliation.
• Install a sense of belonging to the profession through participation in
IDSA.
• Help student officers develop goals and plans for their upcoming year as
an officer.

Policies
• The SCOOP will be held once each year at the District Conference.
• The SCOOP is designed for the incoming chapter officers that will assume
their office in the fall. If the school has not elected new officers, current
chapter officers should attend. Student Chapter Advisors should also be
present to learn and plan with the students.
• Students are responsible for their own transportation to the event. Local
Districts and chapters may assist as budgets allow.
